Mars Attacks Mt. Pleasant is a full length comedy from writer-director Roger Marsh. • The story follows husband-wife Sam and Donna Steele – after Donna makes a false report late one Saturday night to Mt. Pleasant Police claiming the Mt. Pleasant Strangler attacked her – and she lived to tell the story.

Girlfriend Doris, landlord Daryl, and husband Sam get involved – and the four like the media attention so much – they decide to expand the story – and make up another story about a man who lives in the hotel with them – the Strangler’s next victim – except the body has disappeared from his apartment.

The story only creates national media attention and more rumors and stories they weren’t counting on – like staying in Daryl’s hotel is the fountain of youth – you digress in age by 10 years – which attracts everyone who is anyone in Hollywood to descend upon the town.

Wealthy friend Roland finally steps in to help the four out of their dilemma – with an invasion from Mars. And the rest is history.

Starring Kat Post as Donna, Philip Haddad as Sam, Deborah Franzen as Doris, Alex Etling as Daryl, and Jack Simon as Roland.

Shot on-location in Mt. Pleasant and Scottdale, Pennsylvania June 2007 and released June 19, 2008 with a World Premiere at the Geyer Performing Arts Center, Scottdale. A second premiere was staged the last weekend in September 2008.
